The continuation of the Golden Purse. Trivia: • The “When he laughs, the cosmos shudders” is a strange line from the comic “The Menace of the Sinister Super-Babies”. • For more Barbra Streisand Stand Up action, be sure to watch later installments of this video. • “The Summoning” Sequence featured Karlin as the Guardian of the Golden Accessories. “Everything’s A Dollar” was new at the time, and we found this hilarious set of Golden Hair Accessories to go with Karlin’s Golden Purse. We also stocked up on rubber rats, Book of Love CDs and inflatable sharks. • The Leprechaun sequences were filmed in Rapid City’s famous Storybook Island, a wonderland of whimsy built after the flood of ‘72 • Note appearance of Musicland Assistant-Manager Julie who we happened to run into while filming on location at Storybook Island. Does her line “Russell – stop filming!” ruin the suspension of disbelief for anyone? • We made an intentional effort to include the guy with crutches in the bridge scene. Poor guy. • The Taunting in a Puddle in the maze portion was influenced by the Doctor Who episode “The Deadly Assassin” in which the Doctor sees a scary clown in a puddle. • Somehow this copy of the movie features a small section twice. Sorry about that! It will be edited out of future editions. • Watch for the shrieking girl and the crazy glaring old lady in the maze.
